BASIC DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VISA APPLICATION
Identity Documents: You will need to provide
Birth Certificate: This must show names of both your parents. If you cannot provide this, then you must provide the identification page for one of the following:
- family book showing the names of both parents
- identification document issued by the government
- court-issued document that proves your identity
- of a family census register
Police Certificate: If you have spent a total of 12 months or more in Australia, then you must provide an Australian police certificate.
If not, then you must provide an overseas police certificate from your home country and any other country where you have spent a
total of 12 months or more.
Relationship Documents: Marriage certificate if you are married, or if your relationship is de-facto, then you must provide proof your relationship has been ongoing for at least 12 months.
You must also provide a written statement describing the history of your relationship, first meeting, development of your relationship, future plans, etc.
